Higher Education Video Production System
PROJECT SUMMARY
This exciting project delivers an innovative approach to hybrid and distance learning. With the integration of Zoom, CDA designed a highly-functional video production studio that expands the possibilities for delivering interactive online education.
The overall design incorporates extensive flexibility and mobility. Much collaboration with constituents took place to create a facility that frees instructors to focus on teaching, with a variety of both traditional and modern instruction tools that create an engaging, immersive experience for students. With special attention to far‐end participants, the systems incorporate camera shots designed to maintain eye contact between professors and students, creating more personal, realistic interactions.
The project includes a large suite/teaching space with portable video displays, a state‐of‐the‐art control room, AI‐assisted overhead cameras, a lighting grid system, interactive touchscreen displays, and a flexible viewing room – all of which create an exceptionally inviting and productive educational environment.
